History

Acument™ Global Technologies was established in 2006 when Platinum Equity acquired the Textron Fastening Systems business from Textron Inc. We are among the world’s largest producers of engineered mechanical fastening products and solutions. Our businesses have a long heritage in the industry, and some can trace their origins to the 19th century.
