Avdel® is the pre-eminent name in blind rivets, rivet-type fasteners and associated installation tools.  Designed for rapid installation, these fasteners are installed on the “blind” or rear side of a material.  Designed for a rapid rate of installation, with typical assembly cycles of under 3 seconds, Avdel® fasteners can be installed by one operator with a wide range of tools to suit the production environment.  The Avdel name dates back over 45 years and is derived from “Aviation Developments,” the company’s original name when it was founded in 1936 to serve the burgeoning aviation industry.  Today, the business is based in the United Kingdom and has operations in the UK, U.S., Germany, Korea and Taiwan.
